Courses
Study Holiday General English courses provide a balanced programme of language study combined with social and cultural activities. They are aimed principally at young learners aged 13 to 18 years and focus on improving English through films, music, topics, project work, street surveys and culture. Topics are selected to cater for the interests, lives and experiences of young learners and lessons provide a flavour of British youth culture. Please see the sample programme for an indication of possible content. The duration of the courses varies between one and four weeks and students stay in carefully selected host families or residential accommodation. If desired, the content of each course can be adjusted to meet the specific requirements of individual groups. The school's Director of Studies is always happy to discuss the content of the course in advance of the visit. See what is included. Please contact us if you would like more information.
These courses prepare students for international examinations by paying particular emphasis to examination skills. The Director of Studies liaises directly with the group's co-ordinating teachers to ensure the course is focused correctly and to ensure that students receive the best and most appropriate examination preparation. The tuition is supplemented with an activity programme of social and cultural events with an emphasis on use of the English language. The duration of the courses varies between one and four weeks and students stay in carefully selected host families or residential accommodation. See what is included. Please contact us if you would like more information.
The school is happy to welcome individual students on Study Holiday courses but they can only be accepted on courses in June, July, August or September. Please contact us if you would like more information. See what is included.
